In the pink ... Cher Lloyd
The X Factor singer embraces American culture in the glossy promo to her new US single Oath, which appears on the States version of her debut album Sticks + Stones.
The clip sees Cher in high school before she breaks out of the classroom to roam the streets of sunny Los Angeles with her gal pals.
She also spends a lot of time throwing a series of shapes atop the bonnet of an open-top car, showing off plenty of skin and cleavage in the process.
Adding to the Americanism of it all is Cher’s opening verse of the song, in which the former X Factor contestant sounds like she’s rapping in a States accent.
Oath also features a vocal cameo by US rapper Becky G.
Cher has been across the pond for the best part of 2012 as she bids to crack its notoriously tricky market.
The US version of Cher’s album boasts two new tracks on iTunes bonus editions – Behind The Music and Riot!
